Attachment & Relationships

How attachment insecurity relates to — but isn't the same as — love anxiety.

Attachment theory describes stable patterns in how people relate to closeness and separation, typically formed early in life. LUMA treats attachment insecurity as one possible individual vulnerability that can shape romantic threat appraisal — but Love Anxiety, as measured here, is a broader, relationship-and-stage-specific construct, not a restatement of attachment style.
